Chambers are delighted to welcome Madeleine Steele

Chambers are delighted to welcome Madeleine Steele, who has joined chambers on successful completion of her pupillage. Maddie joined Chambers in November 2020 following successful completion of her pupillage.

Prior to pupillage, Maddie worked for two years as a paralegal at a specialist mental health and mental capacity law firm, representing clients before the First-Tier Mental Health Tribunal and instructing counsel in various Court of Protection matters.

In 2016, Maddie spent four months in America at the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office, assisting with death penalty trials. She returns every year to volunteer at the office.
