Caroline splits her time between teaching criminal litigation, advocacy and ethics on the BPTC at BPP in Bristol and maintaining her criminal, regulatory and family practice.
Caroline returned to chambers after leaving her role as an employed barrister within the Safety, Health & Environment team of DAC Beachcroft.
Whilst there Caroline regularly represented companies and individuals at court and appeared on their behalf at inquests.
Caroline was junior in two high profile gross-negligence manslaughter trials one being the bath tipper truck trial in which four people died.
Caroline worked within the criminal justice system for 15 years, first within the Crown Prosecution Service, then at the independent bar and more recently in-house as an employed barrister providing her with a wealth of experience and is at ease representing both large corporate clients and individuals.
Since returning to chambers, Caroline has expanded her practice into Family Law. Caroline accepts instructions in Private Law Children, Domestic Abuse and Care and Adoption.
