- Re A – representation of grandparent acting as intervenor in care proceedings seeking SGO under which child would live in Spain raising Hague Convention issues.
- Re J – successfully resisting application by local authority for immediate removal.
- L v L – instructed in application for Occupation Order where serious harm alleged was due to racist and homophobic behaviour of husband towards step-children.

Caroline is married with two children and when not running around after them she can be found walking her cocker-collie cross dog or running half-marathons very slowly.

The regulatory framework of the many cases in which Caroline has acted included kennel licensing, In addition Caroline was junior counsel in three high profile gross-negligence manslaughter trials including the Bath tipper truck trial in which four people died and the door failure at G Live Guildford which led to the deaths of two members of a well-known sea shanty group.
Caroline now practices in family law as well, in particular in public law cases for local authorities, parents, intervenors and associated family members. Caroline has experience of acting in cases involving sexual and domestic abuse, neglect, and substance misuse and has acted in cases where children have complex medical and mental health needs and/or are victims of CSE.
Caroline also has experience of Special Guardianship Orders in which there is an International element. Caroline has experience of Deprivation of Liberty cases involving children outside of parental control and Court of Protection cases involving at risk adults lacking capacity. Post care proceedings, Caroline has been instructed in contested adoptions, seeking permission to oppose adoption and the discharge of parental responsibility.
In private family law Caroline is instructed in non-molestation orders, occupation orders, and child arrangement order proceedings.
